Strecam is an iOS app that turns your iPhone or iPad into a webcam for your Mac. It is designed and developed by Pablo Gutierrez, an independent developer, and has been on the App Store since 2020.
The idea is simple: the camera you carry in your pocket is better than the one built into your laptop. Strecam connects it to your Mac over a cable, with no lag and nothing on screen, so you can use it in OBS, QuickTime or any streaming app.

Version 1.5.0 is a complete redesign: a modern interface, multi-camera support (0.5× ultra wide, 1×, 2× and front), improved gesture controls, broader device compatibility, fewer ad interruptions, a 24-hour ad-free trial and privacy improvements.
